Mountain View

Mountain View is a small and popular community located within Hickory. Mountain View’s charm lies it’s wonderful subdivsions and neighorhoods dotted among rolling hay fields.

 

Mountain View Elementary School has consistently been ranked as one of the top elementary schools in Catawba County and is often where newcomers to Hickory wish to be!

 

Mountain View Elementary feeds to Jacobs Fork Middle School and Fred T. Foard High School. Jacobs Fork Middle School is ranked as one of the Top 1% of schools in North Carolina and offers an incredible variety of athletic sports and enrichment programs for students.

 

Fred T. Foard High School is home of the Tigers and a central part of the Mountain View community. Their focus on academics leads many students to scholarships and they offer a large variety of after school clubs and activities.

 

Mountain View is also a 5 minute drive to one of our bike hiking areas, Baker Mountain Park. Baker Mountain Park is located at the highest elevation point in Catawba County at 1780 feet and offers 6 miles of trails, along with picnic areas.

 

Our Marketing Director & Owner Aspen Brown is a native of Mountain View and has chosen to stay her to raise her own family. She feels that it offers a great sense of community and a wonderful suburban vibe!
